THE TEAM
The Order to Cash (O2C) team reports into Group Financial Control and is responsible for accounting for circa 9bn of revenue. The team is made up of Senior Finance Manager, Finance Managers and Finance Analysts, supporting reporting and accounting.
You will gain first-hand experience of how every booking is accounted for and how we interface with other business functions, particularly IT and Customer Services.
THE ROLE
As Assistant Revenue Accountant, you will report to the Finance Manager and support all accounting activities for passenger and partner revenue.
You will deliver month-end activities and engage in external audit deliverables. You will help create certainty and confidence in the numbers delivered and communicate risks and opportunities to the business.
- Maintenance, finance control and accounting for credit shells including credit files, refund shells and credit vouchers
- Ownership of key Revenue areas including month end journal posting, balance sheet reconciliations and process improvements
- Provide support in managing risk and opportunities with the business
- Assist in preparation of budgets and re-forecast for designated areas of responsibility
- Assist with revenue projects to ensure timely delivery
- Support Partner Revenue as necessary to ensure robustness and full coverage of Revenue Accounting
- Assist with reconciliation and accounting of EasyJet Holidays transactions with EasyJet Airlines
