Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC milling and turning machines
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and offsets
- Monitor machining operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Partner with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes
- Maintain production documentation and machine records
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and clean work environment practices
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years as a CNC Machinist
- Technical Experience:
- 5+ years operating CNC machines (milling and/or turning)
- 5+ years of G-code programming and CNC controls
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
